Introductory Course

How often are we truly alive, fully living our every moment? Life slips by all too quickly yet so much of it we pass through on 'auto-pilot', regretting the past or dreaming about the future. Mindfulness is one of the central teachings of Buddhism and practising it helps us to 'wake up' to the richness and wonder of life in this very moment, as well as helping us to see our true potential as human beings.

This 8-week course is based on Maitreyabandhu's highly acclaimed book 'Life With Full Attention' and will involve talks, discussion and mindfulness practices to take away and try out in daily life.


The course will be led by experienced teachers and members of the Triratna Buddhist Order. We have run this course several times in the past and it always proves to be popular being very practical and interactive.

We are unable to run this course at the centre, so we are offering it as an online course via Zoom.

Because of the current lockdown situation we would like to make this course available as widely as possible and so have decided to run it on a donation only basis.
